problemi di volley
Problemi di Volley was born from the mind of Tommaso Dotta, coach from the Ligurian Riviera in love with volleyball. Basically, an unrequited love.
Blogging was a personal outlet at first. A place to share the (few) joys and (countless) jinxes that this wonderful sport can give.
But gradually Problemi di Volley evolved to become a portal whose main purpose is to enhance volleyball at all levels: starting from provincial amateur championships passing through Under 12 to Serie A till Italy national volleyball team. Taking themselves seriously, but never too much.
Cronache di spogliatoio
True and plausible stories from the depths of the locker room.

azzurri di gloria
Who among us has never heard the story of Pietro Mennea or Sara Simeoni from a family member? Di Nino Benvenuti or “Pollicino” Maenza?
Extraordinary stories of normal people, from which the whole of Italy always expected the best, but only every 4 years. Of course. The vast majority of Olympic athletes often end up in oblivion. They are brought to the limelight only when they win a medal and then … they vanish into thin air.
I was born in Turin on January 13th 2001 and I live in Moncalieri (TO).
I suffer from Stargardt’s disease, a genetically based degenerative retinopathy with autosomal recessive transmission, linked to mutation of the ABCA4 gene, which affects about one person in ten thousand, usually occurs in the first or second decade of life and represents one of the main causes of juvenile low vision.
However, this did not stop me and now I am competing both in the Olympic and in the Paralympic universe.
I am a member of the Rari Nantes Torino and the Fiamme Oro sports group.
In my career I broke 8 Paralympic world records, winning 11 medals (including 9 gold) between the World Championships (5 golds) and Europeans (4 golds).
My dream? Participate in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics!
